Four new experienced and dedicated professionals have joined the Biotechnology Faculty.
Dr.Arif Hussain PhD from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India. Entitled Molecular studies of p16 gene in Indian Female Breast Cancer patients

Dr. Syed Tasleem Raza PhD from King George Medical College, Lucknow, India. Previously a lectuter of Biochemistry in ERAIS Lucknow Medical College, Lucknow, India.

Dr. Naushad Rais PhD from PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. Formerly a lecturer in HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, India.

Dr. Chhavi Sharma PhD from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, India. Completed her thesis on Molecular Basis of Chemoprevention in Oral Carcinogens. Also, a guest lecturer in Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. Previously, worked in Egygen Biotech as a Scientist in 2007.
With the new academic year underway, all departments have welcomed new graduates. Similarly, the Biotechnology department currently have 27 undergraduates enrolled for B.Sc in Biotechnology and 15 in Bio informatics. While, 14 postgraduates in M.Sc Biotechnology.
New Laboratory equipment The Biotechnology department has ordered new Lab equipments, such as Liquid Nitrogen Tank/ Cryo tank, Digital Hygro thermometer, Digital Incubator, Rocker, Micro centrifuge, Protein Purification system, Autoclave Vertical, Portable Tissue Transporter and an additional Laminar Hood etc, thus making research and analysis of laboratories even more efficient. The newly ordered equipment is already in use as laboratory sessions have already commenced for all Biotechnology students.
