Welcome Note by Media Faculties
Today we live in a moment of history where the pace of change is so rapid that we begin to see the present only when it is about to disappear. They say we turn older with years but newer everyday. We now have a new identity which also comes with a new look. Keeping with this spirit newness, a new enthusiastic team of 25 cub reporters from the 2nd year BA Media and Communications batch have joined the new team of faculty members from the department to keep this initiative from becoming a history. Hope this new synergy takes us on the path of success as the ability to stay relevant is the key to success. Wish us the best!!! Welcome Note by Student Community of the Dept. of Media & Communications Firstly, here’s welcoming everyone into the new academic year 2008-09. The blogging team of 2007-2008 has just spread their wings and moved out in search of greener pastures. And we wish them the very best. I’d like to thank the previous team who having warmed our seats for us, have left us with a precedent to follow in a bid to keep up to the quality standards of a blog they built up from scratch. The new blog team of 2008-2009 is an enthusiastic bunch of second years from the Media and Communication department. 25 in number, and with each one allocated different areas; we hope a blogging team of this size will be able to cover the related events with high efficiency. We will strive to take the blog to new heights and towards new standards thereby raising the bar for our successors. Being media students, we hope that learning the ropes on how to efficiently run and manage a blog will help us gain experience in producing and delivering content on a large scale to even larger audiences. We strongly encourage and look forward to your suggestions and feedback.
