The final year students of advertising and journalism of the Department of Media and Communications were taken to Al Ta’awon Printing Press, Sharjah. It was a knowledgeable and hands-on experience for the students to familiarize themselves and learn about different printing techniques.

Mr. Kuldip Singh, CEO of the company welcomed the students to his press and gave an introduction. Students were guided by Mr. Amit Kumar and Mr. Pillai on the working of the machinery and different possibilities of printing.

Furthermore, students were given hands-on experience on screen printing – they tried their hand at printing visiting cards.

It was an informative trip for the students on how printing functions and exploring the possibilities of how they could combine their creative skills with printing technology.
