After running for 21 consecutive years, INDEX’11 launched their first ever Fashion show, ‘Les Collection Exclusives’ in association with DAS collection.
The collection featured a variety of famous designs by Armani/ Casa Textiles, Nobilis, Duralee Fabrics, Beacon Hills, Designer guild, Bruno triplet, Leleievre Paris and Rubelli. Each unveiled selected pieces of their silk/cotton collections which were largely inspired from textile fabrics and designs.
The collection featured a mix of raw silk and cotton with a touch of Victorian chic and Arab modernity, according to Reem Beljafla, the fashion designer for DAS collections. The outfits showcased pastel shades with embroidered prints and delicate usage of motifs draped around the silhouette in silk.
Here are some of the designs that were showcased:

The unique factor of this fashion show was the auction of the designs, with the highest bidder taking home their outfits respectively. The winners shall be announced on the 25th October 2011, and all proceeds will go to the Dubai Autism Centre. This is definitely fashion for a cause so it's time to be charitable!
