Metallica performs at Yas Arena, Abu Dhabi on 25th October 2011
Four days have passed since Metallica rocked Yas Arena, Abu Dhabi, rocked so hard that my ears are still ringing from the night that I will never forget along with 30,000 other die-hard fans.

Celebrating their 30th year as a band, the rock legends — James Hetfield (vocals, guitar), Lars Ulrich (drums), Kirk Hammet (guitar, background vocals) and Robert Trujillo (bass, background vocals) performed in the Middle East for the very first time, treating the audiences to one of the biggest rock concerts the region has ever seen.

‘Enter Sandman’, ‘Creeping Death’, ‘Nothing Else Matters’, ‘Sanitarium’ and ‘Seek and Destroy’ are few of the legendary songs that won the hearts of fans as they sang, screamed and head-banged to the music of their heroes.

Metal heads from Manipal University, Dubai also attended the concert. Media and communications student, Rachel Lewis said, "Metallica were nothing short of brilliant & were absolutely mesmerizing on stage. We need more of these concerts where the music, is well, just soley about the music."
