The Interior Design students of the
Manipal University attended a Design Workshop conducted by OFIS Showroom on 12th
May, 2012 at the showroom premises.
OFIS (Office Furnishing Interior Solutions) is
a total office solution provider, which aims at offering innovative solutions
for interiors. The company has a
portfolio of well-known international furniture brands that include Steelcase,
Wilkhahn, Unifor, DVO, Dauphin, Ergo and Benel with Marko and Aresline offering
comprehensive interior solutions for educational institutions.

The workshop covered a number of aspects like
current trends in commercial interiors,
followed by a presentation by Interface, Creative nesting. The
Competition was centered on providing design solutions for a commercial space
with the clients brief and the best design from amongst the four groups was
awarded a trophy by OFIS.
The
visit proved to be insightful for the interior design students and helped them
further in their practical knowledge of the design field in the UAE.
