Society of AutomotiveEngineers (SAE) collegiate club inauguration ceremony was held on 4th
June 2012. All the Engineering department faculty, staff members, SAE members
and the students attended the program.
Program was hosted by Mr.
Pranav Mathur (SAE member) and Mr. Jason Serrao (SAE Vice president) gave a brief introduction
to SAE and explained the Benefits & career opportunities of it.
Chairperson
of Engineering Dept Dr. S.V.Kota Reddy inaugurated SAE collegiate club, Manipal
University Dubai and inspired SAE members and the students by a motivational
speech. He announced the names of the office bearers of SAE CLUB for the next
academic year 2012-2013 also congratulated faculty advisors.

Program was made more
interesting by displaying a short video related to the latest technology “Straddle Bus”. It demonstrated the eco
friendliness, cost effectiveness and efficient way of transport by saving lot
of road space. Finally the program was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr.
Sidharth Satheesh (SAE Organizing Head).
