BBA students Clinton and Yadu Krishnan with Faculty mentor Mujeebur Rahman

CONGRATULATIONS to Clinton and Yadu Krishnan (2nd year Business School students) who have won the first place in the Western Union "Business for better" Competition jointly conducted by Western Union and Al-Ansari Exchange.

This competition, was organized to encourage striving young entrepreneurial business students of universities in the UAE to develop into socially conscious individuals who can work together to make a difference. This is also in line with their overall corporate citizenship efforts to enrich the lives of the communities they serve.

A battery of progressive screenings qualified 13 out of 38 teams from several universities in the UAE. The 13 included three teams from Manipal, around six teams from American University of Sharjah, two from American University in Dubai and one from The University of Dubai.

The final presentation, at the ADDRESS Dubai Marina hotel on the 24th of November, culminated in Manipal gaining the first position and the panel of judges were highly complimentary about the quality of our team.  The prize money, AED 45,000 to each team member, was awarded by Western Union and Al-Ansari as scholarships for their III year of studies.

Kindly join us in congratulating Clinton, Yadu and Professor Mujeebur Rahman, their faculty mentor, from the Department of Management Studies, on this outstanding achievement and making us all feel proud.
