Dynamic individual and an alumni from the IT Department, Divya Mukund Menon was invited on 8th November 2012 to share her experiences of her journey from a fresh passout to a working professional five years late. 

Menon has attended several training sessions and has successfully completed certifications pertaining to Cisco including CCNA, CCNA-Security, CCIE, and CCIE-Security and is now a flourishing IT Security Engineer with Emaar Properties PJSC.

Menon conducted the 3rd session of “Meet the Alumni” for the department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology addressing the current batch of students who learning about different types of networks and the threats faced by them. 

If you've ever been a victim of hacking or hardisk crash? Then this is a talk you needed to attend! Being a young professional, Menon had a great affinity with the students. She spoke about how getting certified gives one a lot of creditability when one applies for jobs. 

Overall, Menon provided the students an in-depth picture of the technicalities of the IT market and were impressed by her job profile as her job protects the network she is running. At the end she left the audience with an inspiring advice “don’t let anybody steal your show”.
