The UAE Youth to Business Forum is a unique one-day event powered by AIESEC, to be held on the 1st of December, 2012 on Manipal University, Dubai campus grounds. The event gives the youth and business leaders a platform to discuss topics and ideas that are shaping the future of business world. 


The forum, this year, will focus on “UAE Vision 2021: The Youth of the UAE”, through a panel discussion and goal setting and skill building workshops, together aiming to empower youth and connect their personal growth to the country’s wider vision.

Innovation Workshop



Speaker: Marita Mitschein, Senior Vice President Strategic Investments, SAP AG | Managing Director, SAP Training & Development Institute FZCO | Lead of MENA Growth Plan, Middle East & North Africa.

Marita Mitschein was appointed Senior Vice President Strategic Investments of AAP AG, in April 2012. In this capacity and also as the Managing Director of the SAP Training & Development Institute FZCO she leads SAP’s Growth Plan for the Middle East North Africa.

During her 6 year tenure with SAP, she has held several other leadership positions. Before being appointed as the Lead for the Middle East North Africa Growth Plan, Marita supported SAP’s China Growth plan and was the HR Businees Partner Lead for SAP’s Co-CEOs, Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe.
Previously Marita held a key managerial role for the global rollout of the Manager Solution Centre (MSC) as well managed the EMEA transformation task force for continuous process improvement and led the Operational Workforce Planning stream in SAP’s Lean Talent Acquisition project.

Marita holds the following qualifications:

Entrepreneurship Workshop



Speaker: Lina Hourani, Director – CSR Division, Al Ahli Holding Group

Since her appointment in 2008, she managed to execute several youth development programs and initiatives. Among those initiatives and forums was the Global Business Opportunities program (GBO). Through the GBO program, Ms. Hourani has successfully marked a major milestone in Al Ahli Group’s efforts to identify business opportunities, develop the entrepreneurial skills for youth, and build their ability to own a global business; hence, shifting them from being job seekers to job providers. 


She managed to build outstanding partnerships at national and international levels. Her achievement encompassed translating Al Ahli Group’s vision into action by running the GBO across 5 different countries benefiting youth from all over the world.


Ms. Hourani has conducted trainings for more than 2000 private sector volunteers in Jordan, Egypt, Argentina, Dubai and Chicago. She received a number of Awards in several occasions including the Junior Achievement Award at the Global Leadership Conference as a milestone staff member in 2005 in Canada.

Ms. Hourani holds a Masters degree in Public Relations and Communications from the University of Westminster in London, a BA in Political Science & French literature from the University of Jordan, and a Diploma in Neuro-linguistic programing from Canada. Ms. Hourani has also undergone a number of trainings including a Leadership training course at University of Illinois in Chicago.

Leadership Workshop


Speaker: Robin Titus, Global Sales Director, Naseba

Robin launched the London office and oversees sales in the Dubai office. He is responsible for building the core team, commercially driving and aligning team Naseba with the core values of the company. Robin is dedicated to making it the biggest revenue-generating office in the group.

The Naseba group produces promotes and hosts commercially oriented summits targeting executive level attendees across multiple vertical industries. Each event is focused on re-education, networking and - most importantly - creating a 'Deal-Flow' platform for all participating organisations.


Team Building Session


Speaker: Iyad Mourtada, Managing Director, Open Thinking

 

At Open Thinking, Iyad is responsible for analysis, design and develop engaging digital content, tools, and training programs. He's also delivered live and online training activities. He's been serving on the board of directors for the Dubai Chapter of the Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business (IMA) since December 2011. Before that he handled the public relations of Omni-CardTrend, and represented Omni-CardTrend in events and expos. He's also been a CMA and CIA Instructor at Morgan International.
