Manipal University Dubai places sixth in UTSAV 2014, annual literary and cultural competition organized by our parent institute. 

Our students bagged six prizes in total, in spite of the fact that the competition was stiff and challenging and our students needed to have a wide spectrum of potentialities as we could take a limited number of students as participants.




The students won the following prizes:


1. First prize for Indian non classical Dance Solo – Mr Vikhyat Poojary – (School of Media & Communication)

2. First prize for Indian Classical light vocal group – Ms Mariyam Kisat, Ms Danisha Davis, Mr Harsh Joshi (School of Media & Communication); Ms Indhu Pathmanathan, Mr Barath Masamsetty, Mr Prithvi Prajosh and Mr Devanand Chelot (School of Engineering and Information Technology) 

3. Second prize for Indian Classical Light Vocal Solo - – Ms Mariyam Kisat (School of Media & Communication)

4. Secondprize for western Dance Group - – Mr Vikhyat Poojary, Ms Mariyam Kisat, Mr Harsh Joshi, Mr Allan David (School of Media & Communication), Ms Indhu Pathmanathan, Mr Barath Masamsetty, Mr Devanand Chelot, Mr Kevin Alexander, (School of Engineering and Information Technology)

5. Third prize for Debate - Mr Soham Shukla (School of Engineering and Information Technology) and Ms Sayema Wasi ( School of Media & Communication)

6. Third prize for western vocal solo - Mr Prithvi Prajosh ( School of Engineering and Information Technology)
